John Walcott climbed Mt. Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail and the highest point in Maine, with his son, Jeff Walcott, son-in-law Jared Leonard, and childhood friend, Pete Will. The climb was important as it was John's 60th birthday. He decided to celebrate climbing a mountain he had first summited in 1974 and has returned to over 25 times. The following are a few images from the day. I hope you enjoy.
